My View From Our Deck

My diary is of my husband's and my life in these beautiful Western North Carolina mountains. We are half-backs. My husband, Warren, lived his early life,before joining the Marines at 17-years-old, in western Pennsylvania. I, Shirley, lived until my early 30's in upper New York State in the land of the glaciers, the Finger Lakes region.
